1.  ADMINISRATIVE ASSISTANT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Be responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support in order to ensure the National Coordination Office of TLM-Nigeria runs in an effective and efficient manner.

·        Provide office support services in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the

·        National Coordination Office of TLM-Nigeria

·        Provide administrative support to the National Director of TLM-Nigeria

 

REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate should have the following:

·        At least 3 years’ experience in Secretarial/office administration

·        Ability to build and maintain respectful and effective working relationship with the Coordination Office staff, Partners organizations and client.

·        Excellent interpersonal skills

·        Effective written, verbal and listening communications skills

·        Very effective organizational skills

·        Proven computer skills, especially in the use of spreadsheet and word-processing programs, and e-mail at a highly proficient level

·        Be a committed Christian.

 

2.  COMMUNITY RELATIONS OFFICER: CHURCHES

 

RESPONSIBLE TO:  Funds Development Manager

 

MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

       i.          Support the Implementation of TLM-Nigeria Fundraising Strategy

      ii.          Develop partnerships with churches, Christian mission networks and individuals, to  increase TLM-Nigeria Funding and Resources

     iii.          Provide support to TLM-Nigeria volunteers.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSINILITIES:

·        Coordinate promotional activities.

·        Develop networks and partnerships with churches, church based networks and individuals to increase awareness and raise funds for TLM-Nigeria.

Main Responsibilities:

 1.     Coordinate promotional activities in TLM target States in Nigeria.

a.     Maintain close communication with Funds Development Manager to obtain and share information about promotional /support activities for TLM-Nigeria.

b.     Together with the Funds Development Manager, develop the coordination process for taking the best advantage of support and funding opportunities among church networks.

c.      Collate, store and disseminate (to churches and individuals) newsletters and such information as would raise awareness about TLM work in Nigeria.

d.     Seek innovative ways of reaching different target groups (to churches and individuals) with appropriate information and messages to enable them support the TLM-Nigeria

e.     Expand TLM-Nigeria individual support base giving emphasis to recruiting committed donors and strengthening prayer support.

f.       In collaboration with TLM-Nigeria Finance Team to keep records and all receipts of funds raised and be accountable to the finance department of TLM-Nigeria.

g.     Form strategic partnerships with church groups to exchange promotional resources, expertise and information.

h.     Plan and carry out visits to local churches, their various groups; and other gatherings where there are opportunities to tell others about The Leprosy Mission and to raise supporter.

i.       Develop, update and maintain a database of supporters in Nigeria.

j.       Keep in touch with supporters; promptly acknowledging support received, and supplying feedback periodically to supporters.

 

2.     Advice management on Fundraising.

a.     Provide advice and information to TLM-Nigeria through Funds Development Manager on fundraising / support-related matters.

·    At least 5 years work experience

·    Team player / good interpersonal skills

·    Excellent written and oral English

·   Fluent in Hausa language

·   Basic Computer skills (MSWord, Excel, Access and Power Point, Corel Draw)
